How Much Does It Cost To Attend?
Full Cost of the Weekend
The full cost of a Marriage Encounter Weekend is typically between $600 - $700 per couple. This includes meals, accommodation, materials, miscellaneous expenses and shared costs. The variation in costs depends on the number of couples registered each year; more couples mean lower "shared costs" per couple. For example, the presentation room is $1,250 for the entire weekend. If there are 6 couples this shared cost is $208 per couple, if there are 12 couples, it is just $104 per couple.
Registration Fee
The Registration Fee is $150 (or $130 if you register before the early-bird deadline).
Donation
Apart from the Registration Fee, your Weekend is given to you as a gift, paid for by previous attendees. Near the end of the Weekend, the final cost of the Weekend will be explained. You will be given the opportunity to ‘pay it forward’ by making a tax-deductible donation. Marriage Encounter does not receive outside funding, so we rely on these contributions for Marriage Encounter to continue.

Payment
We offer secure payment online at time of registration using your credit/debit card or e-transfer. Payments can be on a one-time basis or through monthly commitments. Payment also can be made using your personal cheque.
Refunds
Your registration fee is refundable if you cancel on or before the deadline shown for each experience. If you need to cancel after the deadline, your fees can be put towards a future experience.

- All experiences are run exclusively by volunteers. For example, our presenters are not paid. This helps to keep our costs down.
- The Weekly Series costs are different as there are no fees for accommodation or meals.
